Press the on/off button to power on the device. The default setting for the ECKO TENS unit is the automatic mode. Next, the LCD screen will highlight a targeted body. Cycle through the target areas with the A key.
Use the + or 0 key to adjust the intensity of the electric pulses. You want to deliver pulses to the area without causing a contraction response from the pulses. Start low and work up to where you need to be.
You can switch between “Wave” and “Point” modes to find which setting works best to relieve the pain you’re treating. Again, always start with a low power setting and work to where you need to be incrementally.
There are three treatment length intervals which can be cycled by holding the W/P key for 3 seconds. These treatment lengths are 15, 30, and 45 minutes.
All settings, treatment types, battery power, and duration settings are displayed on the unit’s LCD screen.
